Having personalized jewelry is always a great idea. Recently I found out about this newly launched jewelry company, Love Pendant. It was founded by the jewelry maker Robert Leser. Love Pendant offers a unique collection of engraved semi-precious gemstones that you can custom designed to make your own piece of jewelry.
The process of customization is very simple. First choose a necklace, bracelet or charm. Next choose the gemstone; topaz, amethyst, green quartz or citrine. Finally choose a symbol, letter or word that holds special significance to you. The gemstones are then set in the customer’s metal choice of vermeil, silver or 14k gold.
I chose a beautiful necklace made with a Topaz gemstone with the symbol “Amor” that means “Love”.

Celebrate Fourth of
July in Paris at the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann department store
This magnificent flagship store
first opened its doors in 1912 and has remained a family business for five
generations. It has transcended time, war, and financial crisis to prove its
unrivaled capacity for innovation. It is the second largest tourist attraction
after the Eiffel Tower.
The Galeries Lafayette includes
there buildings. The main building, Lafayette Coupole, houses designer
collections, fashions for young people and children's clothing, cosmetics,
jewelry and accessories, books, music, and electronics. Additionally, located
in the Coupole are the Lafayette Marriage Boutique and a terrace on the top
floor which provides stunning views of Paris and its monuments. Lafayette Homme
connects to the Coupole through a covered passageway and features men's fashion
and accessories. The third
main building is Lafayette Maison which features the latest home furnishings and a gourmet food shop, Lafayette Gourmet.
The store offers many amenities including personalized English-speaking concierge service, private wifi access, and taxi reservations. There are a variety of cafes and restaurants located around the store.
As part of the 4th of July celebration the store is offering a unique gift to its American customers. This gift includes two Seine River cruise tickets with a minimum in-store purchase, so if you are in Paris on July 4th, be sure to stop by the #galerieslafayette for a truly unique shopping experience.

Another point of interest is the Galeries des Galeries art gallery. Galeries des Galeries is a cultural space located on the first floor. The art gallery’s goal is to introduce Galeries Lafayette visitors to the emerging talents of both today and tomorrow. With four exhibitions a year, each showcasing both French and international design, the exhibition program aims to highlight the cross-over between fashion, fine art and design. These disciplines have always inspired Galeries Lafayette.
