Fashion - Alvin Valley Trunk Show

On November 20 I had the chance to meet the designer Alvin Valley who is famous for his classic pants. The event was held at the Mandarin Hotel in Boston. It was a trunk show to help the relaunch of Alvin's brand and launch of his website AlvinValley.com. Now Alvin's latest collection is been sold exclusively online. The event was also held in some other US capitals such as DC and NYC
The website AlvinValley.com, is tailored around his expertise in quality, precision and fit. Ranging from high-waisted styles, to the flattering skinny, to modern trousers for the office, Alvin's designs create a flawless fit that enhances every woman's body. Alvin's genius lies in his ability to understand and cast the female form in its best light, thus earning him the title, "King of Pants", by Women’s Wear Daily in 2004.

AlvinValley.com features 36 pant options, which contain pioneering inner construction developed by the designer over the past two years to create the perfect fit. They come in an array of colors including basic black, white, gray and khaki as well as purple, red, yellow, blue, green and pink. Alvin brings back iconic styles from his archives infused with a modern twist including the 310 Lana and the 111 wide waistband and new classics including the 190 skinny crop and the 198 two-tone. Only the highest quality fabrics are used including the finest Italian wools, classic cottons and airy linens and all pants are made in New York City. By selling directly to the consumer at AlvinValley.com, the collection, which previously retailed at high-end department stores and boutiques for $325 to $700, now sells between $195 and $335.
