O ano de 2011 foi um acho cheio de grandes tendências de beleza, de moda e eletronicos. Eu resumi aqui algumas da tendências mais populares deste ano.

Boston Bloggers Holiday Fiesta



December is a month of celebrations. There were holiday parties everywhere. Some days ago I participated in a soiree called The Boston Bloggers Holiday Fiesta. The event organized by Alison & Katy Rose took place at Mass Ave Tavern and brought together many Boston Bloggers. It was a night with lots of fun, chatting, and networking. We had the opportunity to meet many bloggers who write about several different topics which include books, travel, cooking and fashion. We also participated in a blind swap. The organizers asked donations for the Toys for Tots program, in addition to having fun the bloggers had the opportunity to make a child happy this Christmas.

LF Store - Holiday Party







A couple of days ago the LF clothes store had a Holiday Party for Boston Fashion bloggers at their Harvard Square location. The party was organized by the LF stylist Chloe Manigo. The successful evening included chatting, arts and crafts plus style photos. We had a chance to try some of the LF fall collection and photograph the outfit. The fall collection has many beautiful pieces such as burgundy skinny trousers, leopard prints, velvet dresses and a variety of accessories. There are lots of Jeffrey Campbell's new shoe styles.

Bloggers Night Out Event @ Bloomingdale Chestunt Hill Mall
Quinta-feira da semana passada eu participei de um evento de bloggers bem bacana  o Blogger's Night Out que aconteceu na loja Bloomingdales no Chestunt Mall. O evento foi organizado pela equipe BNO Caitlin Moran, Meade Marisa, e Donaldson Kendall e foi patrocinado pela Stylebook. Foi uma grande oportunidade para os participantes saberem os últimos lançamentos de varias marcas, fazer umas compranhas de Natal, e conversar e conhecer novas bloggers da regiao. Os participantes receberam varios presentinhos como a famosa "Brown Bag" da Bloomingdales a qual continha luvas da marca Freefingers (otima para escrever no smartphone), amostrinha do perfume Estee Lauder Private Collection, e uma bolsinha de maquiagem da Stephanie Johnson. Em resumo, a noite foi um grande sucesso ainda mais porque fui sorteada e ganhei um par de jeans da marca J Brand. Você pode imaginar como eu amei neh!
Last Thursday I participated at the Bloggers Night Out Event at Bloomingdale's Chestunt Hill Mall. The event was organized by BNO team Caitlin Moran, Marisa Meade, and Kendall Donaldson and was sponsored by Stylebook. It was a big opportunity for the attendees to brows among the latest brands' fall collections, shopping, networking, and having fun. The attendees were given lots of goodies such as Bloomingdale's signature "Brown Bag" with Freefingers gloves, Estee Launder Private Collection perfume sample, and Stephanie Johnson make-up case. In summary, the night was a big success and I was very lucky when my name was called in the raffle and I won a pair of J Brand Jeans. You can imagine how I loved it!

Zoora Preview @ Bradley & Diegel



Semana passada eu estive no pré-lançamento do website de compras online Zoora . O evento aconteceu no Bradley & Diegel Hair Salon na Newberry Street. Zoora é um novo site de compras de roupas que será lançado em janeiro de 2012. O evento que reuniu Aubrie Pagano que e a idealizadora do site e as estilistas Victoria Dominguez-Bagu of Maria Victoria Designs and Emily Muller que serão uma das estilistas a vender suas peças no site. Além disso, Maria Cataldo demonstrou para os convidados como o site vai funcionar.
Zoora vai oferecer roupas de designers independentes da área de Boston feitas sob medida. A idéia é que o cliente possa obter uma peça de roupa personalizado. Por exemplo, voce pode escolher a cor e comprimento. As roupas serão feitas a partir das suas medidas incluindo busto, cintura e quadris.
Entre os participantes estavam algumas bloggers de moda da área de Boston. Todos nós tivemos uma noite muito bacana onde aprendemos mais sobre o site Zoora, e além disso ainda tivemos nossos cabelos cuidados pelos incriveis profissionais do Bradley & Diegel Hair Salon!

Last week I participated at the Zoora online shopping website preview. The event took place at Bradley & Diegel Hair Salon on Newberry Street. Zoora is a new clothing online shopping website that will be launched in January, 2012. At the event we met the website creator, Aubrie Pagano. The designers Victoria Dominguez-Bagu of Maria Victoria Designs and Emily Muller brought some clothes of their recent collections. Also, Maria Cataldo demonstrated how the website will work.
Zoora will offer custom made clothes from independent designers in the Boston area. The idea is for the client to be able to obtain unique clothes customized to her own specifications. For example, she can choose the color and hem length. The clothes will be made from the woman's exact body measurements including her bust, waist, and hips.
Among the attendees were some fashion bloogers from the Boston area. All of us had an exciting night chatting, learning more about Zoora, and having our hair styled by Bradley & Diegel professionals!
